Let’s Stay Together (pt. 2)
1. Be vigilant of the divide from within.
a. 3 types of divide: False Prophets 1 Timothy 4, False believers Mathew 7: 15-23, Misaligned Christians 1 Corinthians 1: 10-17
2. Let’s stay together around the common goal: to share the gospel of Jesus Christ
a. Move the conversation to the mission (John 3: 16; Matthew 28: 19, 20)

Why is it critical to stay Together?
We simply need to be the Connection between Christ and the Community (All of us)

The local body needs to provide a place where people of faith can come together, raise hands and hearts in one accord in thanksgiving and praise

Press on like Joseph, God is waiting to do exceedingly above all we can ask or imagine.

Focus on God’s Goal for your Life
Live a life pleasing to God, so God can use you in a special way to bless others, and through your service to Him, you will be blessed.

Key points:
1. Why Do We NEED to Stay Together?
a. It is part of God's design for man Genesis 2:18
b. There are forces directly and indirectly counter to this design

2. How Do We Stay Together?
a. Prayer. Pray for your family. When was the last time you did that? Mother, Father, Wife or Husband, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Siblings, etc.
b. Seek Biblical based people and resources to assist you in finding out how to do it.
Just like our personal walk with Christ, this is also a process...a journey.
c. Each family member has their own role to play in staying together. The roles are not dependent on each other, but are interdependent.
We must upgrade our methods, if we intend to be successful. Ephesians 6:4 We can set out to parent but instead aggravate.

When we accept Christ as our Savior and present ourselves to Him, that transformation is also to be reflected in our families.
Jesus is not subject to rules, he seeks to restore! This is not about condemning where you are. It is just letting you know that it is important to God that we stay together...loving whether times are good or bad, happy or sad.
